Suspect Who Shot Dog with BB Gun and Poured Glue in His Ears Was Arrested!

In February, a very kind, sweet dog was found in rough conditions. He was abandoned in a field after being shot with a BB gun, having glue poured down his ears, and having his hind legs tied together. Fortunately, he was taken into the care of The Humane Society of Tulsa. He’s been recovering under their care and justice is being served. On Tuesday, March 10th, the suspect who is believed to be responsible for doing this to him was arrested!

Atlas has undergone x-rays, surgeries, and hours of having the glue removed from his ears. His rescuers said: “From the moment we met him, he wasn’t mean, vicious or protectively aggressive. He just wanted help and warmed up to us as he realized we were there to help.”

Despite what he went through, he was still calm, sweet, and grateful. No animal or person deserves to be treated the way Atlas was. That’s why the Humane Society of Tulsa is now celebrating that an arrest was made. As they said: “We did it Atlas. We did it! There are more good people than bad.”

The suspect was an 18-year-old male who was arrested after confessing. He also poured some type of chemical on Atlas and partially burned or cut his ears off.

These teens need to suffer the consequences of the actions and receive the help they need because they are a danger to other animals and humans.
