Hope For Paws, a rescue organization from California, just saved a tiny dog who seemed to only be waiting for someone to come and help him out. The rescue was contacted by someone who saw the dog wandering between the LA River and the railroad tracks. Stuck between two dangerous environments, the pup was in desperate need of help. Thankfully, the Hope for Paws team jumped right into action.
The scared little dog was found hiding in the bushes in an area with rails one side and the water on the other. Equipped with special gear, the rescuers slowly approached the dog. But then, a curious thing happened – the dog noticed the rescuer sneaking up on him with a net – and he did not move an inch! As if knowing these people were about to help him, the dog laid down in the grass and waited for what would happen next. The pup was only nervous when the net was placed over his head – but it was just a short moment of stress and a low price to pay for the chance at future happiness.
Once he was safe, rescuers named the pup Diesel and transported him to Rescue From The Heart. He received medical care and is now ready and waiting for his new home!
