Fish have been touted as a healthy alternative to meat. Fish is usually the last meat given up by people starting a plant based diet (hence the term pescatarian), and while eating fish has some health benefits, the negative effects associated with its consumption may out way the positives.  Read these 10 reasons to give up fish and decided for yourself.

1.  SWIMMING IN TOXINS

The ocean is full of toxins, most of which have been dumped there by humans, and these toxins are consequently taken up by the fish swimming in these waters.  Most fish, especially fatty fish, contain high levels of PCBs, DDT, dioxins, and lead, which have been shown to cause fetal brain damage and cancer.  Fish are also the main dietary source of mercury, which has been linked to cardiovascular disease, blindness, and deafness, as well as problems with motor skills and attention.

  2. Hi i wont eat carcinogen soy it’ can cause thyroid cancer and other health problems. so I will never eat that poison. and some of your food is non nutrition cause it’s all cooked out of it. and I hate white bread.
