Two family dogs — a chocolate Labrador retriever and a beagle — were allegedly shot with arrows and left to die during what was meant to be a routine hunting outing. According to reports, a father and son tried to hide the bodies and even destroyed a GPS collar afterwards. Their actions have raised serious concerns about cruelty, responsibility, and public safety.
Witness accounts strongly contradict the pair’s claim that the dogs were behaving “aggressively.” Another hunter said he heard the animals yelp in pain, not bark or attack, and the landowner confirmed both dogs were friendly. Investigators later found the shooter was elevated, indicating the dogs posed no threat at all. This wasn’t hunting — it was needless violence.
