Nine dogs are dead. Nine more are barely hanging on. This happened at a boarding facility in Mora, Minnesota, that allegedly promised care but delivered abuse. “Done Right Dogs” marketed itself as a training and boarding service. But when one family returned from vacation, they found their dog dead — and starving.
An investigation quickly followed. Inside the owner’s home, authorities reportedly discovered horror: dogs tied up, locked in crates, starving, covered in urine and feces. One survivor, Buddy, had nearly all his teeth broken and had lost 15 pounds. It’s a miracle any lived.
No animal should suffer like this. We must hold the facility owner fully accountable and ensure she’s banned from working with animals ever again.
