New Dog Social Club Brings Exclusive Experience to Brooklyn, NYC

Dog PPL, a unique club tailored for dogs and their humans, is gearing up to bring a high-end canine experience to Williamsburg. Often referred to as the “SoHo House” for dog lovers, Dog PPL will introduce a brand-new location featuring an expansive 18,000-square-foot rooftop dog park perched above Padel Haus on 12 Berry Street. Just a short walk from the already popular McCarren Park, this members-only venue aims to offer a more exclusive environment for both pups and their owners.

The Williamsburg site promises much more than a traditional dog park, with plans for DJ nights, a full kitchen, and cocktail events to keep guests entertained. While there’s no official launch date yet, reports suggest a potential opening in the summer of 2025.

Since 2021, founders Alex Esguerra and Liam Underwood have been building Dog PPL’s reputation, starting with their first location in Santa Monica, California. Membership fees for the Santa Monica club offer a glimpse into potential costs for the Williamsburg venue, with prices that start at $120 monthly or $360 quarterly per dog, with annual options as well.

Dog PPL is committed to maintaining a safe and friendly environment. The club ensures that every dog is up-to-date on vaccinations and has passed a behavior assessment. According to their website, “all well-socialized and vaccinated dogs over 4 months of age are welcome,” without restrictions on breed. They also emphasize a focus on social interaction, encouraging both humans and dogs to engage—an emphasis underscored by their “no laptops after 6 p.m.” policy, intended to keep the atmosphere lively and welcoming.

With Dog PPL’s Williamsburg location on the horizon, local dog parents may soon have a new favorite place to unwind and let their pups play!
