Man’s Rescue of Stray Kitten Leaves Viewers in Tears

Julio Alonso, 44, was on his usual lunch break walk in Anaheim, California, when he stumbled upon a heartbreaking sight. A tiny kitten, covered in ants and fleas, lay helpless on a bridge overpass. Alonso, who lives in nearby Tustin, couldn’t believe what he was seeing, describing the kitten as “just helpless” and unable to even brush the ants from its face.

Determined to help, Alonso took the kitten to a shelter, documenting its recovery on TikTok. His initial post, along with updates, has touched millions, with one viewer commenting, “Thank you for not just leaving him out there to suffer.”

The story has gotten over 4 million views and 500,000 likes across two videos, as people across the internet express their gratitude for his act of kindness.
