Man Riding Tiger in Pakistan Sparks Outrage

In Pakistan, the trend of keeping exotic animals, such as tigers, as pets is on the rise, especially among the wealthy. However, this practice has drawn serious concerns about the welfare of these animals and public safety. While the country’s Wildlife Protection Laws prohibit private ownership of exotic animals, weak enforcement allows illegal trade to continue unchecked. Estimates suggest that over 100 tigers are being kept as pets in Pakistan, with many being smuggled in or bred in captivity.

Recently, a video of a man riding a chained tiger in Pakistan, shared by digital creator Nouman Hassan, went viral, amassing over 100,000 views and 6,000 likes. The video, showing the man casually sitting on the tiger’s back while other big cats were caged nearby, has sparked outrage on social media.

Many viewers expressed concerns about the treatment of the animals and called for stronger laws to protect wildlife from such exploitation.
