Bossy Mac, a 10-pound ragdoll cat, grew up surrounded by furry companions, including two dogs, Bomber and Roper, and another cat, Pawserella. Over the years, his animal family has dwindled, leaving Bossy as the sole pet in Sharon Gallagher’s household. Adjusting to life without his best friend, Bomber, a 100-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback, has been especially challenging for Bossy.
Sharon, who travels often for work, noticed Bossy’s grief after Bomber passed. In an adorable moment captured on her TikTok account, @bossymacthecat, Bossy found one of Bomber’s favorite toys—a stuffed turkey—and carried it to sit beside him by the Christmas tree. Gallagher shared that Bossy even gazed at a paw-print ornament bearing Bomber’s name, saying, “I have no doubt Bomber was right there with his friend, admiring the Christmas lights like they always did.”
The video, which has touched over 400,000 viewers, shows the enduring bond between the unlikely pair. Even though Bomber was the much larger and more laid-back of the two, he always tolerated Bossy’s bossy nature. Now, Bossy honors their friendship by keeping Bomber close in his own special way!
