However, one TikTok video shows an adorable Australian Shepherd who thinks that she is helping her human but is messing up her careful work.

In the video, the Australian Shepherd can be seen trotting alongside her human as she cleans up the horse-riding area by tractor. However, since the goal of the maintenance chore is to smooth the surface of the track, the pup is hindering efforts rather than helping. However, the dog looks so happy to be involved. Her human reassures viewers that she will never let the dog know that she is doing anything less than a stellar job!

Australian Shepherds are well known for their intelligence and work ethic. They are herding dogs whose high energy levels make it important that they have a job to do. Indeed, the video’s poster shares that if her Australian Shepherd doesn’t have a job to do, she will become “really depressed.”

The video of the hardworking dog has been liked over 201,000 times since it was posted. Some people disagreed with the poster’s assertion that the dog was not being helpful. “That is the BEST helper I have ever seen in my entire life,” wrote one user.
