During the dog days of summer, it’s important for our canine friends to stay cool. Most dogs are satisfied to splash around in a kiddy pool or maybe duck and dodge through some backyard sprinklers, but the dogs at Lucky Puppy doggie day care center in Maybee, Michigan have perfected the art of being too cool for school.
Taking a dip in the dog bone shaped swimming pool, these pups are having a total blast and keeping themselves from overheating in the process. It’s important to remember when the temperature rises that our furry friends need to be protected from overheating, which is why we never leave them in a car or outside in the elements.
With a three-acre supervised playground as well as 7 acres of nature trails, this place really lives up to its name for its four-legged patrons. The pool is obviously the main attraction though, providing a space so fun and inviting that it puts any 80’s pool party movie to shame! Our only question is, can we come to the next one?
Look out below!

“Hey, Vinny! Watch this sweet dive!”

I don’t know about you, but I take comfort in that.

“Jackson, when I yell ‘fish out of water,’ you’re out! You can’t pretend you weren’t running around up there, it’s the honor system man!”

Even though it’s a swimming pool, sometimes it can still feel like Jaws is in the deep end.

You made my day happy today. I asked God for joy and here amongst all the garbage kim k, I find you. I laughed & cried, thank u for sharing what you get to do. I lost my daughter Roxxane at the tender age of 21. She was murdered. My son brought home a beautiful pit mix with dalmation, he named her Bella. I lost our home of 15 years to a predatory loan. I had to go live with my mom who hates all animals, she kept letting Bella out on purpose, I paid $800.00 to get her back then my moms neighbor lied and claimed Bella got out, she had not. I left that mondayand told my mom if they came to not ggive them my Bella, they came & she handed over Bella. I fought city hall and lost. I can only hope my Bella is with someone as wonderful as you all are. She was my love, my companion dog. Never hurt anyone, just ran when ana would open the door. Thank u for reading my post, u r a diamond in the rough
Dear Cindy, your story with Bella broke my heart! Shame on your mom for not respecting and supporting you in a time of need. Keep your hopes up and get out of her home as soon as you can!
