Urban Outfitters Partners with Della to Offer a Sustainable Fashion Line

Della, the L.A. based 100% vegan and sustainable fashion line founded by former fashion stylist Tina Tangalakis has partnered with retailer Urban Outfitters to help scale its products to the fast fashion level.

Refinery29 reports that Della’s Apparel and accessories are handcrafted in Hohoe, Ghana, by local women who’ve received jobs, education, and skills training via the brand. The materials used are all vegan, sustainable, and mix traditional West African materials with modern day forms (like bomber jackets, track shorts and iPad cases). In addition, the products are very affordable (all under $69). Proceeds from the collaboration with Urban Outfitters will go back to the local Ghanaian communities.

The exclusive collection will be available from May 1st on the Urban Outfitters website.
