As every cat person knows, sometimes it is the person who adopts a cat, other times … it is the cat who adopts a person. Indy, a tiny four-week-old kitten, was found in a parking lot, his eyes crusty and ribs sticking out. Fortunately, he came across a family that immediately set out to help him and wanted to let the baby find a home – which, in the end, did not happen … but only because his future best friends were already there.
Indy’s sweet story was shared by Imgur user Trousersrolled. Now he has all the care and love a kitten can dream of.
With so much innate charm, Indy found a forever home much quicker than anyone anticipated. “My aunt also fell in love with another kitten too young to be separated from his mother and literally said ‘well we already have kitten formula, so we might as well…’ and then brought home another cat,” Trousersrolled writes. “They love each other and the older cat is completely cool with them now.”
We just love how this story illustrates how kindness is contagious – pass it on!

I went to a shelter looking for a black kitten, partly because they are usually the last to be adopted. The 2nd thing they brought him out and he was the only one they had. But as soon as he was put in my hands he grabbed hold of me and just relaxed and started purring, you couldn\’t hear it but you could feel the vibrations. He is my protector and my pain in the ass. He race\’s upstairs every night to beat me to bed. He is the last thing I see at night and the first thing I see in the morning. He is a bully as well to my 12 yr old tabby and he always gets his butt kicked. It feels good to be adopted by a pet.
thank you for being there for him.
GREAT PEOPLE TO KEEP THE CAT.
