Interspecies friendship has to be some of the cutest stuff to ever be caught on tape. Take this video of a bird feeding its cat and dog friends for example. But just like anything else in life, interspecies communication doesn’t always go quite as planned.
The crow in this video spends a solid minute and a half trying to muster up the courage to approach the dog. When the bird finally does, they decide to nip at the dog’s tail. It’s no surprise that the dog was a little annoyed.
The reason why the crow did this is a mystery. Maybe it thought the dog’s tail was a tasty worm in disguise? Or maybe it was just trying to get the dog’s attention?
We think that it seems more likely that the crow was just feeling naughty and decided to have a little fun at someone else’s expense. It may seem like odd behavior for a crow, but birds are way smarter and sneakier than they’re given credit for!
