This Man in India is so Poor That His Children Have No Shoes, But He Still Shares His Food With Homeless Dogs (VIDEO)

Many animals end up in shelters when their caretakers feel they can no longer afford the time or money necessary to provide these animals with a loving home. Lokesh, an amazing man from India, takes his love and passion for helping animals to a whole new level, though. Despite living in a “slum,” and being so poor that his family lives without shoes, Lokesh still finds the room in his heart and house to care for a mother dog and her pups. Winters can be extremely hard on animals, and Lokesh brought these dogs into his home without a second thought.

His kind actions for animals don’t stop there, either. When Lokesh found another injured dog in his neighborhood, he carried the animal to the volunteers at Animal Aid Unlimited himself. This is when they first heard his amazing story of selflessness and were inspired to share his story with their followers.

After Animal Aid Unlimited wrote about Lokesh, many people wanted to help this kind man and his family. Donations of shoes, socks, and dog food soon came in. A man that will put animals above himself is a man we can all truly admire. The world is a better place thanks to Lokesh and his family.
