It’s physically painful to see an animal in pain whether it be from exploitation to neglect. However, the most heartbreaking part to comprehend is how some people promote this pain – or are able to sit by idly and do nothing to put an end to it. That’s why it’s especially heartwarming to see someone come to the aid of a helpless animal in need, expecting nothing in return but the feeling that they are making a difference for another being.
This is exactly what happened to a stray pup in Udaipur, India, who was found in a back alley of a neighborhood suffering from severe mange. Fortunately, Animal Aid Unlimited found the pup and brought him back to their rescue center for rehabilitation and skin treatment. By the end of the video, you won’t believe your eyes when you the energetic pup – he looks like a completely different dog!
Since many people in India can’t afford to spay or neuter their pets, tens of millions of homeless animals roam the streets, however, that doesn’t mean that these animals can’t find a better future. This story just goes to show how TLC can transform an animal’s life – all the more reason to adopt a rescue pup in need and never shop at pet stores!
