It is downright horrifying what some people do to innocent animals, but thankfully there are rescue organizations like Rescue Dogs Rock NYC who do all they can to counteract that cruelty.
This Thanksgiving, they rescued a ten-month-old puppy who was found curled up in a ditch in Georgia in critical condition. Please be aware that the following images are graphic and may be difficult for some to see.
If you would like to help contribute to Blessing’s recovery, you can donate here. Rescue Dogs Rock NYC is run by volunteers, so every donation truly makes a difference. If you have fallen in love with sweet Blessing and are interested in adopting her, visit the Rescue Dogs Rock NYC website for more information.
Blessing is a prime example of why adoption is so valuable. Each and every single day, 5,500 animals are euthanized in U.S. shelters, many for no reason other than there is not enough space to keep them. Adoption is a wonderful way to directly save an innocent life while also enriching your own. Even if you are unable to adopt, fostering is also an excellent way to help clear up space for more rescued animals at shelters, and it helps prepare animals for their future forever homes. Of course, donating to and volunteering your time at shelters and rescues also helps contribute to the greater cause.
Please remember to share this story with your family and friends to increase Support for sweet Blessing!

I can believe it. Thanksgiving marks the begining of the judeo.christian holiday kill season with the slaughter of 45 million turkeys… and more and more slaughter as the holiday season revs up… so harming one more animal in a tradition that honors violence to animals is just business as usual:
Genesis 9:1-3 “The fear and dread of you shall rest on every animal of the earth, and on every bird of the air, on everything that creeps on the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; into your hand they are delivered. Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything.”
WTF.. ya i said it..
