Because I’m obsessed with caramel, you can probably understand how I feel about Twix bars, right? I mean, that was my candy growing up. Ingredients You Need for Twix Bars [Vegan]

    • 1 (15.5-oz (439-g]) can salt-free chickpeas, drained
    • 1/2 cup (120 ml) tahini
    • 1/3 cup (80 ml) agave or maple syrup
    • 1–2 teaspoon (5–10 ml) vanilla
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • Salt, to taste
    • 1 batch homemade vegan caramel (~2 cups)
    • 1 cup (240 g) vegan dark chocolate chips
    • 1–2 teaspoons (5–10 ml) coconut oil
    • Flaky salt, for sprinkling

How to Prepare Twix Bars [Vegan]

    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9 x 9–inch (23 x 23–cm) baking pan with parchment paper, then lightly oil it with your oil of choice.
    2. To make the cookies, add the chickpeas, tahini, agave, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda and salt to a food processor and blend until smooth with no clumps, about 4 minutes.
    3. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it out so it fills the pan. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
    4. Put the pan in the fridge to let the cookie cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
    5. Spread 1/2 to 3/4 cup (120–180 ml) of the caramel on top of the cookie and return the pan to the fridge for 30 minutes.
    6. Remove the cookie from the fridge and cut horizontally, then vertically to make bars.
    7. Add the chocolate and coconut oil to a microwave-safe dish and microwave in 30-second increments (mixing until smooth each time). Drizzle on top of the bars until all are completely covered, then top with flaky salt.
    8. Put the bars in the freezer for 10 minutes until the chocolate is set, then enjoy!
