Ingredients

  • 4 cups mushrooms
  • 12 small onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot in slices
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup + 4 tablespoons red wine
  • 3 teaspoons tomato paste
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 bay leaves
  • fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • salt
  • pepper
  • parsley

Preparation

  1. On a non-stick pan sauté the mushrooms. Add the wine. Add garlic, onion, carrot, laurel, thyme and cook on low heat. Add the tomato. Meanwhile in another pan warm 1 tablespoon oil and sauté the onions. Add the mushrooms.
  2. Add salt, pepper, oil and parsley. Serve with pasta or rice.
