Wounded and Helpless Dog Staggered Into Traffic Just Before His Life Changed Forever (VIDEO)

We think we’re in love! And it’s difficult to tell who we’re more enamored with at the moment; the beautiful Marlo in this video, or the rescuers at Animal Aid Unlimited themselves for making us cry with their beautiful before and after stories!

To see the love and care given to street animals when they have nothing and no one constantly tugs at our hearts. Animal Aid Unlimited rescues anywhere between 15 and 25 animals on a daily basis from the streets of Udaipur in India, receiving calls from good Samaritans on a special hotline.

To watch Marlo staggering, almost on the point of collapse, next to busy traffic, had us holding our breath, but it was easy to see right when he knew he was going to be okay. The moment a gentle volunteer wrapped him up in a blanket so he could be treated for the awful wound behind his ear is probably going to be in our thoughts all day! We are so happy to see him recovering, looking happy, healthy, and full of love. He is going to make a beautiful addition to somebody’s family soon, and we couldn’t be more proud to see his progress.

To think of all the other street dogs who have nowhere to sleep, no food, and no one to take care of them when they get sick like poor Marlo is gutwrenching. Without heroes like those at Animal Aid Unlimited, working around the clock to rescue and treat so many animals, hundreds more would starve or die of problems that are easily treatable.
