This Worried Mama Dog Anxiously Watching Over Her Puppies in Crowded Shelter Shows Exactly Why We Need to Adopt and Not Shop! (VIDEO)

This heartbreaking video posted by Angels Among Us Pet Rescue shows a sweet mama dog named Auntie Ann with her three puppies. This little family was taken in by a northwest Georgia shelter, and as you can see, Auntie Ann was extremely stressed. She was scared and confused about where they were, the people and loud noises, and what would happen to her puppies.

Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse as one of the puppies passed away despite the shelter’s best efforts to save him; the poor stressed mama just didn’t have enough milk and nutrients to keep all of them healthy. Luckily, she and the remaining two pups are headed to a foster home in Atlanta, thanks to the unwavering efforts of Angels Among Us. They will be safe and mama can finally stop worrying so much and relax. If this foster home hadn’t taken this family in, who knows what would have happened. It’s a true testament to how fostering an animal saves lives, in more ways than one.

Fostering an animal is a great way to make a difference for animals when you aren’t in a position to adopt. This helps the animal being fostered, shelters with space, and allows them to save another animal in need. As always, volunteering, educating others, and sharing profiles of adoptable pets are always effective ways to help shelter animals.
