No one likes to be pigeonholed into stereotype (sorry pigeons?)! People prove every day that they are more than the ascribed cliché the world expects them to be – and the same goes for animals! Many of us have been operating under the assumption that animals behave the way they do because it is engrained in their “nature,” but what do we really know about the true nature of animals?
Just take this duck for example. According to the way a duck “should” behave, he should only be interested in waddling around a pond and avoiding humans (unless they bring him duck treats). But this little duck just wants to have fun! He has clearly seen dogs playing fetch and decided he wanted in on the game. This duck does not waddle to retrieve the toy, he runs! Shattering preconceived notions left and right, this duck is content just being himself … no matter what species he was genetically born as.
