Sometimes it’s just not that easy to get comfortable, you know? You lay down on the couch, but the arm is just a little too high and forces your neck into a weird angle, so you grab one of the decorative pillows.
They’re all beaded though and they kinda smell like dog because that’s were Colonel Barker likes to cozy up while you’re at work, so it’s on to plan B. In the case of humans, we’ll usually just go lay down in the bed, or at least the slice of it that we can access since Major Meowers is laying across it horizontally with a, “try to move me and I’ll become dead weight” look.
Cats don’t have to think as hard about where they kick back, as evidenced by this cat taking a load off on his friend after a long day of grooming himself and slow blinking when his human talks to him. Snuggling up with each other is kind of ingrained in cats from an early age, which makes how chill both of them are about this situation more logical.
Still, can you imagine if you were, like, “Hey Frank, I’m super tired, could I nap on you for awhile?” to the guy that shares your cubicle at work? We don’t know, maybe you and Frank have an understanding where that would be mutually agreeable, but we’re thinking this is still kinda more of a cat thing.
