Cows are some of the most loyal, playful, and intelligent creatures on the planet. Sadly, many people never get to see these amazing sides of cows because they only consider them to be commodities used for food.
Luckily for us, and cows, times are changing! It seems like amazing sanctuaries dedicated to taking cows and other farm animals out of the cruel confines of factory farms and giving them a second chance at a happy life are popping up everywhere!
The video above comes from one such sanctuary, Hof Butenland, located in Germany. Here you can see some of their rescued cows hanging out in a gorgeous field of grass with their caretaker. Seeing the cows playfully nuzzle their human and ask for love is just too cute!
