As environmentalists and animal welfare advocates, laws pertaining to natural habitats and the animals within them are of the utmost concern and importance. With the recent U.S. administration’s denial of climate change and the USDA’s hiding of animal welfare records, the fight for the planet has become even more of an uphill battle. However, we must not give up in the face of opposition, as the earth cannot survive if we do not step in and speak up immediately.
According to a petition on Care2, when Congress meets later this month to finalize the federal budget for 2017, Republican leaders are planning on proposing deals that will have detrimental effects on our public lands and the animals within them. One of these propositions is to end federal protection for Great Lakes wolves.
Although wolves are apex predators that help to balance their ecosystem (just take a look at how wolves helped restore Yellowstone National Park), they are the frequent victims of unfair legislation, which is pushing them to the brink. Laws allowing wolves to be shot in their dens have already passed recently in the U.S., we cannot allow further destruction to be wrought on this species.
If you want to make your voice heard and your opinion count, please take a moment to sign this petition urging lawmakers to not pass legislation that does any of these four things: removes protections for wolves and other endangered species, funds the border wall, expands oil and gas drilling, or gives away control of America’s public lands.
Please share within your network and encourage your friends and family to do the same. The wolves are relying on us to speak out.

Most of America\’s public lands are our share of planet Earth, the Earth that alone, generates and releases all of mankind\’s life lines for life itself, scientifically, ecosystem, "life-supporting services". Our life-flowing planet Earth is a living soil, water and native species only of plants, trees, invertebrates and pollinators, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals, scientifically, biological diversity and bio means, "life". Some species of biological diversity are more vital and important for the fate of Earth, like America\’s wolves. The wolf is a vital keystone species and prevents his portion of planet Earth from collapsing and dying. The wolf is the salvation of planet Earth.
