If your neighborhood was constantly covered with trash, you would stop and do something about it, right? No one likes a litter bug!
Apparently, Sabrina, a stray dog who lives at the Sao Paolo Department of Water and Power’s construction site, feels the exact same way. After watching sanitation workers collect trash from the polluted Tiete River, Sabrina decided to lend a paw to their admirable efforts.
This helicopter footage catches Sabrina in the act of jumping into the river and dragging out bottles and trash for collection. Sanitation workers estimate she collects around 25 bottles in just 20 minutes – talk about efficiency! Whether she’s just doing her part for the betterment of the environment or having a good time playing solo fetch, Sabrina’s actions are absolutely amazing.
The Department of Water and Power has even vaccinated Sabrina to ensure she doesn’t get sick from her daily dives.
Way to go, pup!
