This friendly retired military dog isn’t quite sure what to do with this kitten, but he’s definitely curious. While we don’t know this hero dog’s name, we can assume that after all his years of service, he definitely deserves a nice long break – and what better way to settle into civilian life than with a little kitty friend who can help him find his footing?
Military dogs like this guy are heroes just as much as their human counterparts. They go through training, just like any soldier – they run through obstacle courses, learn basic commands and learn how to go on missions. Those that do make it through get assigned to one military base anywhere in the world, and along with their human handlers, serve out their duties in combat zones. The bravery, courage, hard work and sacrifice of these dogs help to keep us safe, and they are no less heroes than the human soldiers they fight alongside.
