The Arrow Fund recently took in a puppy who is in heartbreaking condition. She is suffering from a multitude of issues including rampant mange, swollen eyes and limbs, dehydration, anemia, malnutrition, and the list goes on. It would have been easy to turn her away, which likely would have resulted in her being put down, but that was not an option for the compassionate team at The Arrow Fund.

Polar, the puppy, is currently being evaluated and treated at Blue Pearl Pet Hospital, but she has a long road to recovery ahead of her. The puppy’s mother was also rescued and is reportedly being treated by local animal organizations as her condition wasn’t quite as critical as little Polar. Thankfully, a foster caretaker has agreed to help heal this little one physically and emotionally. Polar is in good hands now and we look forward to seeing her recover!
