Laura, the little piglet in the photo below, was rescued from life in the animal agriculture industry by volunteers at Santuario Igualdad Interspecie, a farm animal sanctuary located in Chile. Out of her entire family, she was the only one that rescuers managed to save. Without a mother to keep her warm, a piglet like Laura has no way of regulating her body temperature. Lucky for her, a local animal clothing business called “Estilo Pets,” translated as “Pets Style,” has been donating sweaters that are just the right size for the sanctuary’s rescued baby animals. Here’s Laura, looking fab in her new sweater!
We’re pretty sure that Laura is now the warmest, snuggliest, most fashionable resident at the Chilean sanctuary. Everything about her, right down to her room, is pretty in pink. You can tell just by looking in her eyes that she is one happy little piglet. You don’t have to be a fashion maven to appreciate all the latest styles the residents of Santuario Igualdad Interspecie sport.
