Pit Bulls Enjoy Special Outing in Cute Video

For two pit bulls at the Lifeline Animal Project in Atlanta, Georgia, friendship has been key to making shelter life bearable. The adorable duo are named Moon Pie and Clipper. The two pit bulls have become best friends during their time at the shelter. Recently, the pair got the chance to go on a day-long excursion together. However, the moment was bittersweet, since it was revealed that it was the last play date the dogs had together.

Moon Pie and Clipper are best friends in the shelter. But after 6 months of shelter living, they’re ready to find their forever home. Both dogs are the definition of you can’t judge a book by its cover. They’re unbelievably sweet, friendly, and great with other dogs. After spending six months in the shelter, the pit bulls were excited about their excursion. In the video, they can be seen enjoying a car ride, meeting new people, and happily consuming some pup cups. The video has gotten over 1,200 likes on TikTok. 

Clipper has found a new home since the video was posted. However, Moon Pie is still waiting for his forever family. Sadly, it proved difficult to find a home that would take both pit bulls. However, shelter staff says that they are hopeful Moon Pie will soon be adopted as well. The sweet dog would love a home with another dog friend.
