Oh, big dogs. Sometimes they just don’t realize how large they really are.
This sweet Pit Bull doesn’t seem to be aware of the fact that he’s too big to be a lapdog. One theory his humans posit, however, is that he’s reliving a memory from his puppyhood. That might be the case — it is said that dogs have horrible short-term memories but are better at remembering long-term events that helped them to survive. It might just be that this dog remembers snuggling up to his mom or his human as a puppy and feeling very safe and secure.
Pit Bulls often get a bad reputation for being vicious or aggressive dogs … but from the looks of this guy, that’s hardly the case. Whether this pup is reliving his puppy days, or just enjoying his time with his pet parents, he deserves all the love and attention his human parents have to give him.
