Gamand explains on Facebook that after being rescued from a cruelty case seven years ago, Creasy spent a year in solitude as evidence against his owner. Creasy was so sick, neglected, and depressed he had to undergo rehabilitation at AZK9 Rescue. Nothing came easy for this sweet boy, and finding a forever home was no different (Creasy even appeared in Sophie’s Pit Bull Flower Power Book)! It was a long time coming, but Creasy has finally found his perfect forever home with the Watters family.
Creasy’s story continues to inspire in more ways than one. Not only is he giving hope to the countless pets across the nation who have been waiting for a forever home but also those fighting cancer. Yes, Creasy was diagnosed with cancer not long before he was adopted, but that didn’t stop his new family one bit!
