Thank goodness someone made a call to Animal Aid Unlimited on behalf of a piglet who was in desperate need of help. The little baby was unable to walk after getting hit by a car. When rescuers arrived on the scene, he was so frightened he tried to run away, dragging his back end. That fear was short-lived, however, and once he got back to the hospital, he realized these people were on his side.
Back at the shelter, rescuers found that the piglet, named Tinku, suffered from a fractured femur in his back left leg. His back right leg was also injured, poor baby! Tinku’s caretakers gave him treatment, including weeks of bed rest, and helped him rebuild his strength. After six weeks of care and sheer determination, Tinku was able to walk again and he took full advantage of it! Soon he was eating, running, and playing as any little pig should!
