Though pit bulls get the worst rap these days, Rottweilers are often stereotyped as dangerous dogs. But the gentle giant in this video shows that in the right environment, so-called “bully breeds” can be fun and friendly family pets.
Watch this clip to hear a huge Rottweiler “sing along” as his owner’s young daughter performs the classic nursery rhyme, “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.” The girl is clearly taking the lead, with the pet howling along like a member of the pack. Or is he howling in protest? Nah, I don’t think the girl’s singing sounds all that bad, and her happy face shows she’s not the least bit offended by her canine friend’s harmonies.
Lest you think the dogs’ vocalizations are mere coincidence, note how he ceases howling immediately after the little girl takes a break from her rhymes, then starts back up again as soon as she does. He really knows how to take a cue!
