There was this girl we knew in college that just loved to sleep. Seriously, she could sleep through a fire alarm (we had nothing to do with the hot plate in the common area, honest!), a train horn blasting at 6am on a Sunday morning about 100-feet from the courtyard area (that conductor seriously did that on purpose every weekend), and one particularly ridiculous guy fight on the balcony next door about whether Joey should be with Pacey or Dawson. Yes, it was the ’90s.
No matter how hard we tried to wake her up to go out to the part… um, study for finals, she’d just snooze away. She was majoring in tourism. We’re not sure where she ended up, but we hope it’s asleep on some exotic beach somewhere. She would have liked that.
Anyhoo, this cat totally reminded us of her. No matter how hard the rabble-rousing kitten of this duo tries, there’s just no waking up Snoozy Whiskers over here. That isn’t to say that great effort isn’t undertaken in the quest, however. We particularly liked 0:32 seconds … and 0:39 too. Now, that’s persistence.

The kitten didn\’t want the other one to wake up! S/he was simply using the other kitten as an appropriately cooperative (or at least non-combative) plaything. As a friend of mine says, "To a kitten, EVERYTHING is a toy" (even another kitten).
