What lies on the other side of the looking glass is a question that has long plagued human beings. While of course science explains away the likelihood of there actually being an alternate universe on the other side of the mirror … in the eyes of a young kitten, science is just a matter of opinion.
This kitten has just discovered the wonder that is the “full-length closet mirror” and with it, his new arch-nemesis. Seeing this “other” cat (i.e. his own reflection) as his equal in cuteness, it does not take long for this little kitty to realize that there is no room for any more adorableness in his house. At least, not on his watch! So the epic battle with the mirror cat begins.
Dolphins and elephants are among the few animals who have the ability to recognize themselves in a mirror – cats (as you can see) do not possess this ability. But, regardless of whether or not this kitten will be able to figure out that there is not an evil kitten double roaming around is house, this video is pretty hilarious.
