Suiting up and going to work at the hospital does not feel like a job at all to two wonderful individuals, Kandu and Lucy. Getting the chance to put a smile on the faces of patients is their most favorite thing to do in the whole wide world! No, Kandu and Lucy are not doctors, they are not even nurses or licensed therapists. So, who are they? They are loving, perfect furry little angles.

Therapy dogs Kandu and Lucy are not letting their physical disabilities stop them from living life. In fact, as you can see in from the video, the pair are mega super stars of the Heeling Friends program at the Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs, Colorado! Looking stylish, yet professional, in their wheelchairs, the doggies go room to room, patient to patient, to visit people needing a smile, a hug and healing.

Even though they do not have all four legs, nothing will stop Kandu or Lucy from spreading joy and sharing their amazing healing powers. They are an inspiration to humans and animals alike by showing us what it means to be handicapable. One, two, three, four, no legs, wheelchair, no wheelchair…get out there and be the best you can be!
