The resilience of animals should never be underestimated. We have seen so many dogs and cats go from sick and injured to healthy and thriving when they were just given a little love and proper care from kind humans. Hector the dog is certainly one of these animals.
Hector was a stray dog who was found frozen to the ground after a particularly cold night. The extreme cold damaged Hector’s hind legs and tail, but thankfully, he was discovered by Lisa Korol who took him to the vet for care. Poor Hector had to have part of his feet and tial removed, but Korol cared for him the entire time he was recovering from his surgery.
Korol absolutely fell in love with Hector and adopted him as her own. She knew Hector would be much happier if he had prosthetics that would allow him to run again, so she turned to other animal lovers across Canada and managed to raise $7,000 for a proper set of prosthetics for him.
Just look at how happy Hector is now that he can run and play like he used to! Good luck pup!
