This foster kitten, named Mutsu, was rescued along with his mom and his siblings (named Jupiter, Saturn, Elstar, Fuji and Ambrose) from a factory in Vancouver by the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association, or VOKRA. The kittens were just two days old when they were rescued, and the whole family has stayed together thanks to the kind people at the organization who rescued them and the foster family who was willing to take them all in together.
Making the decision to take in a foster kitty, or any foster animal, for that matter, is truly a decision that can be life-saving. Many shelters (not just Canada, but the United States as well) often do not have the space to accomodate all the animals people bring to them — causing the euthenasia rate at many shelters to skyrocket. Fostering a companion animal while they wait for a forever home is one of the best things you can do for critters like Mutsu and his family.
