During their workday, a film crew came across an injured homeless Pit Bull in need of help. Fortunately, they knew exactly what to do and contacted Hope For Paws right away!

The pup, now named Wilbur, was cautious but very willing to cooperate and accept the food offered by the kind rescuer. Soon, he even let her pet him and was clearly glad to finally be given some affection! The amazing film crew who helped watch over Wilbur so he wouldn’t run away was beyond thrilled when the sweet pup finally got his Lucky Leash.

At the rescue, he got a warm bath and received all necessary medical care, proving himself to be a model patient. Now, Wilbur is ready and waiting for his new home and a person who will love him forever.

If you are interested in adopting Wilbur, visit the BarkNBitches website.

You can help the team save more dogs like Wilbur by making a donation.

Notice how the dog changed when someone cared for it and showed affection? Pit Bulls are the most overly bread and abused breed, the shelters are full of them. Unfortunately, some people see them as a status symbol instead of a family member or even a living thing and eventually the dog ends up in this situation or being dropped off in a shelter. Happy this fella is getting a second chance.
