In Brooklyn, New York, resides a furry resident who has captured the affection of thousands worldwide. Meet Dudley, the cross-eyed black cat whose endearing gaze and gentle nature have turned him into an internet sensation.

Since his arrival in July 2021, Dudley’s unique appearance and sweet disposition have made him an integral part of his human family, especially cherished by his human Charlotte Greffin, and her partner Juan Cuervo. Despite his crossed eyes, which might raise eyebrows, Dudley’s spirit remains untouched, as Cuervo affectionately shares, “Being cross-eyed doesn’t affect Dudley negatively at all.”

It was only recently that Dudley’s fame took flight when Cuervo decided to introduce him to the world through TikTok. Cuervo remarked, “This all feels very validating because we’ve always known he’s special, and we’re just happy that everyone else has been showing him so much love.”

Cross-eyedness, medically termed medial strabismus, is not uncommon among felines and usually stems from muscle and nerve irregularities. While it can influence depth perception, Dudley navigates his world with ease, adapting to his surroundings and captivating hearts along the way.

Beyond his physical appearance, Dudley’s personality shines through. Described as curious, yet shy around strangers, he holds a special fondness for Greffin, often seeking her comforting embrace.
