U.S. Veg Corp is back with the second annual NYC Vegetarian Food Festival, which promises to be bigger and better than the hugely successful one they organized last year.
The festival happens in the first weekend of March and is going to be an exciting event for anyone and everyone who wants to find out more about living a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.
The event will feature lectures, cooking demos, and book-signings by One Green Planet contributors like Dr. Michael Greger, Laura Theodore and Gena Hamchaw.
In addition, the festival will feature thousands of free food samples from more than 80 vendors, including Lumen Soy Foods, Mama Micki’s All Natural Bakery, Rescue Chocolate, as well as animal-friendly organizations like PETA and The Humane League.
Festival-goers will have a chance to enter a raffle in which the top prize is a week-long sailing charter donated by Vegan Sailing Vacations. The vegan adventure will take place aboard the 53-foot yacht, Bel Ami as it plies the turquoise waters and trade winds of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The NYC Vegetarian Food Festival will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan (125 West 18thStreet) on March 3-4, 2012.
VIP admission packages are now on sale here and General admission tickets for $5 will be available at the door, while they last.
One Green Planet is the official media partner for the festival, so watch this space for exclusive interviews, VIP Ticket Giveaways and exciting news on ways in which you can follow all the fun at the Festival (even if you’re not in New York!).
