Any animal lover will immediately tell you their dogs are family. We shower them with toys, treats and would ultimately do anything to ensure their well-being. And with six to eight million animals entering U.S. shelters every year, the thought of deserting our beloved companions is absolutely out of the question. But heartbreakingly, that’s exactly what happened recently to a mother and father dog, and their litter of puppies.
But we have good news for this family! Special Needs Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation, S.N.A.R.R, a nonprofit organization based in New York teamed up with Rescue Dogs Rock and have rescued the WHOLE family! Even though the two rescue groups weren’t initially planning on taking the dogs, they simply couldn’t pass up saving this family from their certain death at the shelter. The dogs were initially separated, but thanks to S.N.A.R.R and Rescue Dogs Rock, the family is together.
Please always spay and neuter your pets and urge your friends and family to do the same. For more ways on how you can get involved to help save animals, click here. If you’d like to Donate to S.N.A.R.R to help cover this family’s medical and vetting bills, you can contribute via their website.

Probably the only decent thing those assh&*#s ever did was to finally dump those poor dogs. Just look at the state they\’re in. Their previous owners should be locked up for this. My god the laws need to change. But so glad they are being looked after. Thank you to the rescue group. People suck
