What’s not to love about dolphins? They’re cute, they’re smart, and they totally love to have fun. This dog’s love of dolphins causes her to go totally overboard, literally!
Gracie, the dog in the video, and her guardian were kayaking on Banana River in Canaveral, Florida when they came across a rare sighting – a dolphin swimming less than ten yards in front of them! Most people would try to preserve the experience by getting a camera or cellphone to take a picture, but dogs live in the moment and Gracie is no exception.
Out of nowhere, Gracie pitches herself off the side of the kayak and swims as fast as she can towards the dolphin. Her hooman panicked a little when Gracie took her dive, however, everything turned out okay in the end. It may not be the kayaking trip they had in mind, but this definitely makes a good story!
