This Dog Falls Asleep When His Guardian Sings Hakuna Matata (VIDEO)

Do you remember which song would make you instantly fall asleep as a little kid? We all had different lullabies that worked like magic, getting us to calm down and fall asleep even on the most difficult nights. For this little dog, that lullaby is a Lion King song, “Hakuna Matata.”

Whether it’s the soft, soothing melody, or the reassuring lyrics that simply melt away all of life’s stresses, this song puts Riley to sleep almost instantly. He starts out sitting up, ready to play with his guardian, but once she gets him to focus and listen to her singing, all bets are off. He slowly lies down and then starts to blink his heavy eyelids. It’s pretty incredible to watch. Sleep tight little Riley!
