Dog on the Brink of Death Desperately Chased After a Car to Get Help… (PHOTOS)

When Logan was brought to S.N.A.R.R. Animal Rescue Northeast, he was in horrid condition: starved, exhausted, and plagued with mange and infections. Even though his state was so bleak, this amazing dog decided to save himself – he ran after a car, as if to say “stop and pick me up!” Fortunately, he came across a person who did stop and now, Logan is finally recovering safely at the rescue, but he still needs help.

When he was rescued, Logan had swollen and painful paws from being in the harsh heat as well as untreated mange and skin infections. He was emaciated, dehydrated, and starving.

Still, he never gave up – but managed to muster the energy to run after a car passing by. “This dog was literally desperate to be saved,” the rescuers write on their Facebook page.

The team named him Logan, as in the movie Logan’s Run. He is regaining his strength while at the vet and slowly beginning his road to recovery.

Logan was unbelievably determined and, in the end, he got what he wanted – a second chance. Now, as his rescuers assure, “this sweet boy will never need or want for anything again in his life.” Hopefully, he will be in search of a forever home soon but for now, he needs some help with medical expenses.
