Dog Born With 2 Noses Is Melting Hearts Wherever He Goes (VIDEO)

In a world full of ordinary, dare to be different – and this adorable Golden Retriever is definitely different. Wallis was born with a birth defect that left him with two noses – yes, double the noses, double the fun.

According to Culley, strangers often stop them on the streets, inquiring about Wallis’ unusual appearance. It’s that unusual appearance, however, that attracted her to Wallis. She thought he was absolutely irresistible – and we couldn’t agree more! It seems everyone loves how unique Wallis is but for Wallis, he is just a regular Golden. His mom says he and Sunny love going out for walks and swimming in lakes. Sounds like typical Golden behavior to us!

Wallis’ birth defect, which is a cleft palate, is not as serious as other dogs birth defects and it didn’t deter him from finding a home. Unfortunately, dogs with more serious birth defects are much harder to adopt out, often resulting in being put down. These dogs have so much love to give and although not perfect, they are a perfect match for someone out there. They make great companions for children, teaching them compassion, not to give up, and that despite outward appearances – they aren’t so different after all.

While adopting a dog with special needs may require a little extra time and money, the love, loyalty, and fun will far outweigh the challenges. As with any animal, adoption is a serious, lifelong commitment-so be sure to research, ask questions, and discuss it with the entire family!
