This is a love story. Instead of the traditional set up where boy meets girl, they fall in love and live happily every after, though, this story centers around the kind of love two best friends share and the indelible mark that leaves on us.
Our dogs are such a huge part of our lives that it’s impossible to look back and separate them from the events in our own timeline – which makes it all the more heartbreaking if, as time goes on, we find that circumstances don’t allow them to continue walking through life with us.
Which is exactly how Ben Moon’s short film Denali came to be. The story Moon and Denali weaves subtle humor, beautiful imagery and a poignant, sweet and heartbreaking narrative about just how profound the love and affection a dog and their human have for one another and how large a hole it leaves when one of them is gone.
Our dogs are there for us through thick and thin, and we’re there for them. It’s a special relationship that only those who’ve had the good fortune to have it understand. One that those same people know only too well the pain of losing. When a dog passes on, their imprint never leaves us. It’s a paw print shaped spot in our hearts that we’ll always carry.

Beautifully done, pray your cancer is cured and you find another pet you can love as much as Denali. Difficult to type this through the tears, thinking of the 12 pets over the last 47 years that wait for us at the rainbow bridge. God bless you.

Did you feel that brush on your leg
as you walked outside today?
It was me just letting you know,
I am really not far away.
I know you miss and love me,
you truly were my best friend.
I wish I could have stayed longer,
but my time had come to an end.

I been in remission for 3 1/2 years liver cancer i really feel for this video i did it by myself the gift of a dog i finally have now would of been a comfort during chemo treatments :/
