Seasoned dog owners know, there’s no better way to keep a pooch busy than with a smear of peanut butter strategically placed. Put a little bit inside a Kong to pacify your pet when you’re busy or away, or make some peanut butter freeze-pops to keep him busy and cool on these hot summer days.
YouTube user Dean Wright found a brand new way to entertain his little dog Oswin with peanut butter: he put some on a stick attached to a GoPro camera to capture the pup’s pursuit of the savory spread. Watch as Oswin licks his chops and sticks his nose into the lens in an attempt to taste and smell the peanut treat. Will he get his reward in the end?
Lucky for Oswin, peanut butter — especially the raw, unsalted kind — is perfectly healthy for dogs. Use it in moderation to add protein, healthy fats, vitamin B, vitamin E, and niacin to your friend’s diet.
