Champ has captured the hearts of people the world over, with thousands following his Facebook page to check on his progress and see how he’s doing. Since we first heard about this beautiful little boy, who was the victim of revenge between a split couple, we have been praying and hoping that he would make a full recovery. It looks like our boy is very definitely on the mend! Here he is in his foster home playing ball with his new foster family, growing stronger and healthier by the day.
Champ was starved to within an inch of his life, weighing less than half of what he should for a dog of his size and age when he was rescued by Rescue Dogs Rock. The idea that a person could look at him wasting away while feeding their own pets to get back at an ex-boyfriend is beyond hideous. Thankfully, Champ doesn’t need to worry about such idiotic people ever again!
It brings so much joy to us to see Champ running around playing ball like he is supposed to be doing. For him, and all the other formerly mistreated dogs in the world, this is the ultimate win. These dogs are not bargaining tools in our relationships, nor things we can discard when they are no longer fun. We are so happy there are heroes like Rescue Dogs Rock and fosterers like Spectacular Spencer in the world, who give their all to save and rescue these beautiful dogs!
